Introduction

Hey guys!

I decided to start this blog so that all my family and friends can keep up with my while I move away to college. I will be posting on here regularly once I move in mid-August. So check back in later for more :) You can subscribe to these posts with your Google account.

If you don't know, I'll be attending Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I plan to pursue a double major in International Relations and Political Science. A year ago, I had no clue that I would be going to an amazing school in the middle of Midwest America. However, I found out that this school had a Hungarian studies program. Actually, it offers over 80 languages, including African tribal languages, and even Sanskrit! As I've learned more about it, it offers a strong education in any area one wishes to study. It is well known for its Kelley School of Business (one of the best business schools in the world!) and the Jacobs School of Music, as well as the School for Public and Environmental Affairs. So I can assure you that I am going to a really great school for a high quality, world class education.

I met my roommate on Facebook back in January, after my first visit. Her name is Cloe and we're practically the same person! We have so many things in common and I just love her so much. In fact, when we first started talking, it was really scary finding out all the things we had in common. I met her when I went for summer orientation a couple weeks ago. We're even the same size. We're just really great together and we're already pretty close friends. We (my parents and I) also met her parents, who are very nice and have a lot in common with my parents too!

We will be living in a living learning community called the Global Village. This residency is for those with global interests, and especially those majoring in International Relations.

So I went back to Indiana a couple weeks ago for my orientation. I am officially a college student! I have enrolled in all the classes I will be in in the fall and have my ID card too!

Here's some pictures that I took while there:

This is at the Wright residence building where Cloe and I spent a night together

There's bunnies all over campus! I was able to catch one in a picture :)

The theater (which is really impressive on the inside)

The art museum! Dad was definitely impressed, and so was I! They have stuff from Ancient Egypt, Ancient Persia, and even a Picasso!

Beautiful flowers in the Arboretum :)
